Inclusive packages for back pain diagnosis

We want to make fast and accurate diagnosis for back pain easily accessible. We have created a simple pricing structure so you have an inclusive price for the tests and investigations needed to give you an accurate diagnosis.

This price includes:

• Initial assessment
• MRI scan*
• Consultation with a spinal surgeon or neurosurgeon

Please note that the package price is for assessment and diagnosis only. Should you require any treatment, there will be additional costs, and you will be advised of these before proceeding.

If you are paying for your own assessment and diagnosis, payment can be made by credit card, debit card, BMI Card, bankers draft, Building Society cheque or personal cheque. Many hospitals also accept cash payment. We ask you to pay for your SpineCare package on or before the day of your appointment. In the case of personal cheques we need to receive your payment at least five working days before your visit to hospital.

If you are insured you may be covered for SpineCare. You should contact your insurance company to check you are covered. Then seek a referral from your GP and contact your local BMI hospital to make an appointment. Consultant fees and the price charged by the hospital will be the subject of existing agreements with your insurer and may vary from the standard SpineCare prices.

*Unless there is a specific reason why you should not have an MRI scan.
